Fan Dongli, male, Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, born on June 12, 1964, MD. He is currently Director of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Xinqiao Hospital, Third Military Medical University, and a master's supervisor. He is a special reviewer for the Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology; Member of the Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology Society of Chongqing Medical Association. In 1988, as one of the founders, he helped establish the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Southwest Hospital. In 2003, he was transferred from Southwest Hospital to the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Xinqiao Hospital. He has successively received further training at Fourth Military Medical University and the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing Medical University.

 

The Anti-Scar Silicone Gel Membrane obtained a Utility Model Patent of the People's Republic of China, Patent No.: 9623352.2.3; it won the Bronze Award for Invention issued by the China Association of Inventions at the 12th National Invention Exhibition; it won the Third Prize (Doctoral Group) at the 6th “Challenge Cup” National College Students' Science and Technology Works Competition; and it obtained the production approval number: Yu Yao Guan Xie (Zhun) Zi No. 2000 168001. One Third Prize for Military Science and Technology Progress in 1989; long-term observational study of forearm flaps; five Medical Achievement Awards from Third Military Medical University, 1991~1995; he has unique expertise in surgical innovations for facial plastic surgery, nasal reconstruction, and scar reconstruction. Publications: 15 papers published; 3 research projects undertaken.

 

Main Research Directions: Prevention and treatment of hypertrophic scars and mechanism research; basic and applied research on novel biomaterials and microsurgery.

 

Technical Expertise: Plastic and aesthetic surgery of the face, facial features, and breasts; treatment of scar hyperplasia and contracture; application of microsurgery and skin expansion in plastic and aesthetic surgery, etc. He has unique expertise in aesthetic design and surgical techniques for plastic and aesthetic surgery.
